Melvin Garrett

Stockroom, 1998 - present

Melvin came to HYY by way of the friendship he had with Wells Dixon who managed our Ship Store and Parts division. They had recreational coaching in common and when Melvin was looking for a job, they eventually became a team in the Stockroom for many years before Wells passed away and left the management of a complicated job to Melvin.

In his free time, Mel enjoys relaxing in his favorite easy chair and playing with his young granddaughters who help him to keep feeling young.

Tyler is a Galesville native. Tyler attended Alderson-Broaddus University before returning to Galesville. He resumed his studies at a local College but still makes time to enjoy life on West river.

Stockroom, 2022 - present

Kelli was born and raised in Shady Side, MD. She has worked in various administrative positions in other local businesses before bringing her expertise to Hartge in 2021.  Her excellent communication skills and detail oriented work ethic are a great assets for helping to organize and run the stockroom smoothly. Her confident and friendly demeanor puts customers and employees at ease when in need of parts that are in stock or special order. In her spare time, you’ll find Kelli fishing, crabbing and spending time with her kids, family and friends.
