ACCOMODATIONS:
Full V-berth forward; next aft 2 single berths, hanging locker, built-in chest of drawers; next aft to port is the head w/ separate tile shower stall; across to stbd is the galley; up three steps to the wheel house/salon there is a moveable dining table that will seat six; then aft through the salon door to the cockpit with an outdoor built-in bench seat.
6 opening ports, 3 hatches, 5 sliding windows in salon and opening windshield. All the interior has been repainted and varnished by top professionals, new teak and holly sole, new cushion covers in blue. Helm seats covered in white.
GALLEY:
U-shaped galley with single stainless steel sink, hot/cold pressure water, stainless steel countertops, 2 burner alcohol stove, 12v/110v Norcold refrigerator/ freezer.

MECHANICAL:
Steering type is cable. Twin Buick V-8’s 455’s 300 HP each; 2:1 reduction gears. Twin monel fuel tanks 100 gal. each that have been cleaned and inspected. 1 3/8” bronze shaft, 20x16 4 blade props. Engines are fresh water cooled. Original wood spoked steering wheel.
DECK:
Two Danforth 22s. Two anchor rodes: 100’ ¾” nylon and 200’ ¾” nylon.

ADDITIONAL:
All the exterior mahogany is varnished; all decks are covered with fiberglass over the original plywood, primed and painted w/ AWLGRIP. All toe rails, rub rails, hatches, trim and hardware have been rebedded. All frames, from the forward end of engine roof and aft, have been sistered or replaced. Blocking for struts and rudders were replaced. All planking that was considered to be in poor condition was replaced. Hull was bronze screw fastened in addition to monel nails.
Bottom Fiberglass: All underwater hardware was removed and reinstalled after the bottom was covered with fiberglass. A layer of 10oz. fiberglass was adhered to the hull from the boottop down with 3M 5200. Another layer of 10oz. fiberglass wroving and 4 layers of ¾ mat were laminated with resin, faired, and coated with vinylester resin.
Interior: The interior has been meticulously repainted, a teak and holly sole installed and all interior brightwork refinished. The fuel tanks were removed, cleaned and inspected. The engines were removed and heads were rebuilt. A new exhaust system was installed. New water pump and water heater. Fiberglass shaft tubes installed. Engine room hatches are sound insulated.
COMMENTS: MISTY’s most impressive restoration was by Hartge Yacht Yard, one of the most talented yacht yards on the Chesapeake Bay. Her admired condition has been preserved under a covered wet slip, with regular attention to maintenance by the same expert craftsmen of Hartge’s yard.
