COMMENTS: BLUE MIST was completely rebuilt by Hartge Yacht Yard, one of the most talented yacht yards on the Chesapeake Bay, and has been maintained since by the same expert craftsmen. The tasteful execution of her overall restoration is impressive and the interior remodel is in classic style but with modern comforts. The fiberglass sheathed hull is Awlgrip painted, minimizing hull maintenance. Her overall lustrous appearance has been perserved under a covered slip with maintenance never having been spared… She is a beauty!
BLUE MIST was originally designed as a commuter yacht. In that day, she would carry her owner from Long Island Sound or the Hudson River to offices in Manhattan. She is now outfitted for yachting on the Bay or coastal cruising in true style and luxury – always drawing admiring looks in every harbor.
